Auchen Castle Wedding

Jen and Mark’s Auchen Castle wedding was just stunning. Auchen castle is a 5 star exclusive hire wedding venue nestled in the Moffat Hills in the heart of Robert Burns country. It was the perfect venue for Jen and Marks intimate and stylish late November day. The couple currently live in Australia but with Jen being from Scotland they knew they wanted to come back to her homeland for the big day.

Jen and Mark met when they were both living in London back in 2014. They instantly hit it off and had moved in together 9 months later. Since then they have travelled the world together and in a very personal touch the table names were countries and cities that were special to Jen and Mark. Each table name card told an intimate story of why that place was special to the couple and why they had chosen the guests for that table. A very special and personal touch.

Jen and Mark had a beautiuful Humanist ceremony complete with handfasting and they were of course piped into their ceremony and piped into their reception in true Scottish tradition.
